My love for poetry runs deeper than the Nile River. It's a beautiful way to express yourself, learn about cultures, and connect with people. I love poetry that conveys emotions, tells stories, and fosters community connections. While transitioning into my new place, poetry was something that helped me deal with the change. I decided to delve deeper into learning about different types of poetry. Immediately, I resonated with Haikus, a short style of poetry consisting of three lines with each line being five, seven, and five syllables respectively. In my opinion, Haikus are complex yet simple; with just three lines, you can convey profound meaning in a concise form. In other words, there is plenty of room for interpretation, which I believe is what makes this style of poetry so fascinating. Although I pride myself on being a straight-to-the-point artist, sometimes I like to write things that can be up for interpretation.
Now that I've explored Haikus, I wanted to try exploring my passion for music by writing about it in the form of a Haiku. I hope you enjoy reading my Haikus as much as I enjoyed writing them. Thank you so much!
